Resilience Group for Social Workers and Community Providers

Join our Resilience Group designed specifically for social workers and other community providers looking to build resilience, reduce stress and burnout. Social Emotional Learning Program with Nature and Horses

Our Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Program, offered for both individual and small groups, is designed to help participants develop essential social and emotional skills through immersive experiences in nature and meaningful interactions with horses. This unique program integrates the calming and therapeutic environment of the outdoors with the intuitive and responsive nature of horses to foster growth in self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, and interpersonal skills.

Participants will engage in a variety of activities that promote mindfulness, stress reduction, and emotional well-being. By spending time in nature, participants will learn to become more present, grounded, and connected to their surroundings, helping them to better manage stress and emotions in everyday life.

Interactions with horses provide a powerful, hands-on approach to learning. Through guided activities such as grooming, leading, and groundwork, participants will have the opportunity to practice skills like communication, trust-building, and problem-solving in a safe and supportive environment. These activities help participants recognize and understand their own emotions and those of others, fostering greater empathy and emotional intelligence.

Workshops and Demonstrations of Equine-Assisted Services for College Programs

We offer engaging workshops and demonstrations of equine-assisted services designed specifically for college programs interested in providing students with a unique, hands-on learning experience.
